Is it so difficult to type as an adult??!!

There has to be some kind of a social limit to where the line is drawn when it comes to lame ass lazy linguistics while typing text messages, instant messages, etc.

Call me a jerk for having some kind of appreciation for the language that we are lucky enough to have as a mother language

‎​I fail to see the vast amount of time saved while dropping 2 characters of a 3 character word into an improper abbreviation. I could understand if one is to abbreviate "for example" into "eg" or "et cetera" into "etc" however "you" into "u" "are" into "r" and the worst is the confusing "your or you're" into "ur", almost seems like they are purposefully misused words that really brings the sophistication of a perfectly beautiful language to an all time low.

The only valid excuse that I could possibly fathom for such self mentally destructive abuse would be if one was from a trailer park and lacked the ability to obtain any form of a proper education, or if one is actually mildly special needs.

The part of this whole ordeal that rubs me in the wrongest of ways is when people are struggling to learn this language and yet they insist on using these horrible short hand versions of the language that they are showing some kind of interest in learning something real, then have to attempt at re learning something proper.

We're adults, not little fucking kids!!
